In month of December of 2017, the team travelled to the Kalimpong area of West Bengal. This programme was more of a showcase and fund raising opportunity for SCF where we interacted with American students from Framingham State University visiting Kalimpong for a study tour. While we are yet to clearly assess the need for a smokeless chulha in this geography, we had an enthusiastic bunch of community trainers who learnt this technique during our stay. We get regular support and encouragement from our friends in America and we hope to collaborate further through this interaction as we spread our work.
